Trupointe Scholarship Program
Application submission is now closed for the 2013 scholarship.
Trupointe Cooperative, Inc. is proud to offer annual scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each to sons and daughters of members. The scholarships are designated to be awarded to a member or a direct dependent, as defined by Internal Revenue Code, of a member of Trupointe.
Applicants are asked to complete the scholarship application, detailing educational requirements, extracurricular activities, community involvement and future intent, as well as a written essay or short video on a related topic.
Applicants must be either:
- a graduating high school senior with a minimum 3.25 GPA/4.0 scale and enrolled in a college or university, in pursuit of a two-year or four-year professional degree in a field related to a discipline of Trupointe business and/or the agricultural industry, or
- a college student, enrolled in an accredited college or university, in pursuit of a two-year or four-year professional degree in a field related to a discipline of the Trupointe business and/or agricultural industry and maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA/4.0 scale.
Applicants are required to provide two letters of recommendation (see additional detail) and a current official transcript.
Finalists for the awards will be selected and may be asked to interview with a review committee.
Previous recipients are welcome to apply, however, preference will be given to first-time recipients.
Applications are submitted to the selection committee and evaluated on the following criteria: leadership, community involvement, extracurricular activities, essay and recommendations.
Award monies will be paid directly to the school of choice in recipient’s name/account prior to the start of the school year. Recipients are responsible for making sure monies are correctly deposited.
Household must have “active membership” status with Trupointe for a minimum of one year of membership and
deliver a minimum 1,000 bushel grain or complete $2,500 in business.
Trupointe employees and their dependents, as well as direct relation to a Trupointe Board of Director, are ineligible to apply.

The application and required materials must be postmarked by December 31, 2013.
Please do not mail or drop off your application materials at your local Trupointe location.
All applicants will receive notification concerning outcome of their application.
Recipients of the Trupointe Scholarship will be announced in the member magazine, 360.
